The Marijuana Garden restoration clean up program is a High Profile event with many elements of risk associated with it. At the Crew Leader gathering in October a discussion of great length ensued about who and how many should attend these events. We agreed that the first two trips would be in March and April 2005 and be considering as (Learning Trips) and will be opened only to Crew Leaders and Crew Leaders in training and Medical staff. This is so that we may develop the procedures for future operations. As I do the first contacts with the USFS, California Highway Patrol Air Operations the logistics of Safety is astounding and monumental size. I know you all would like this experience and for that reason we will use the smaller sites this spring to do our training and leave the biggest area for our fall program, the upper Kings River has 3 times the amount as what we will work on this spring.
